Auto Drop Nozzle Kit The new R&D VTS/Auto Drop Nozzle is the first manually activated VTS nozzle with Auto Drop functions! When riding with the VTS adjusted in neutral position the nozzle will drop 5 degrees in the turns allowing for a much smoother high speed turn to be made. When the steering reaches the straight position the nozzle returns back to the straight position. When riding with a full tank the best VTS setting is usually in the 1 click up position and stays there. With the R&D VTS Nozzle kit you can ride 1 click up (5 degrees up) and when you turn the nozzle will drop 5 degrees which is back to zero or straight position. When the steering returns back to straight the nozzle resumes the one click up (5 degrees up) position. This is one awesome kit! A must have for every GPR Wave Runner owner. Plate Kit The R&D GP1200R Ride Plate is up-dated for 2003. We have modified our production tooling to incorporate improvements found through hundreds of gallons of recreational testing and feedback from our racing programs during the 2001 and 2002 race seasons. The plate mounting surface has been raised and re-angled, producing quicker and more stable planning from 0-30mph and smoother cruising at 50-60mph. There is also more positive straight line stability and better high speed cornering. We made some great improvements to our already successful design. This very ride plate design has been used for the past three years by almost all top IJSBA Factory Yamaha Race Teams and to date it is the only aftermarket ride plate to win the coveted Pro 1200 World Championship, 2 Indoor Pro 1200 World Championships, and dominate in the Offshore Championships for three consecutive years.

Reinforcement Kit The R&D Hull Inlet Reinforcement Skin allows you to skin over the hull inlet from the inside of the engine compartment. The multilayer Carbon/Kevlar shell lies over the pump inlet and glues in place, repairing the damaged or cracked hull. Engine Control Unit (E.C.U.) The new R&D High Performance Digital Engine Control Unit (E.C.U.), designed and developed by R&D's Bill Chapin, is a necessity for any stock or modified GP 1200R. The R&D E.C.U. Installs directly in place of the stock CDI and plugs into the original wiring harness. No rewiring needed, truly bolt-on plug-in performance. Featuring four advanced timing curves to choose from so the unit can be tailored to a stock, slightly modified, or fully modified engine. This E.C.U. boosts the spark energy 50% for increased engine performance through improved combustion. The stock CDI has a 7400 RPM rev limitation, which limits performance. The R&D E.C.U. has four higher rev limitations to choose from, all of which broaden the RPM window allowing for ultimate horsepower. The stock CDI closes the exhaust valves @ 7400 RPM limiting top speed. The R&D E.C.U. offers four exhaust valve opening servo maps, each keep the valves open at peak RPM for maximum speed.
